February 19, 2009, 5:23 PMHi, Plugin looks great but I got a problem. just installed it in a new blog, 2.71 and when I go to the options page, change the default width as an example and click on save options button I end up at the bolg looking at “page not found”. Check file permissions and everything looks good, any ideas?

It is most probably permissions related, but you’re saying they’re ok. Can you send me a screenshot or st? And please make sure that all of proplayer files is 744.

Unfortunately I didn’t have support for that. It’s tightly coupled with WP posts and pages right now. What you can do is, you can try to strip WordPress part, and try again.

I’m aware of problem. It’s only problem if your Google video link has dash character in it. Some encoding problem. Unfortunately you have to wait for next release. Right now I’m waiting for all bug feedbacks.

April 8, 2009, 3:24 PM@min it’s very helpful since I stopped supported version PHP4 after ProPlayer 2.0.1, I’ll release a fix for youtube about that release only. The only way I can suggest you is try to download and use 2.0.1 right now.

Also, there seems to be a major problem with Google Video, I tried to add several videos from there but none of them worked.
I do use Wordpress Video Plugin to embed videos from various sources, but I want to use yours because:

Even the test videos are showing this error.
I’ve checked permissions, though I don’t think that’s the problem. Not sure where to look. Any suggestions?

@Fish, MOV and AVI file types are supported if their codecs are supported by Adobe Flash. If you’ve a codec which is not supported by Adobe Flash, ProPlayer also doesn’t support it. Try different codecs.

April 19, 2009, 10:13 AM@TitBen I told b4 that I don’t support Veoh music videos. They’ve an agreement with myplay which I’ve never tried to get the video location. Music videos has a lot of license issues. Probably I’m not gonna support it at all. Please look at the above usages, all videos are working. I’ve typed the proper usages too. ID formats are just an example. I didn’t know they were pointing a video at all :) I made up those numbers :) Lucky guess.. Anyway ur second veoh link is not a proper link that I support. Please check the FAQ page for more details.
@Olmer, most probably ur host doesn’t support php-xml. If it does, drop me a line, let’s figure out what’s wrong.

April 29, 2009, 9:42 AM@sait, rename the youtube.proxy.php file to youtube.php under video-sources folder for countries which doesn’t allow YouTube. It’ll get videos through a proxy.
